Southern Wedding Venue with a Grand Porch

Imagine stepping out of the limo on your wedding day before a historic, southern-style home. A deep porch crowned with white arches wraps around the house. Gas lanterns add a warm glow just beyond the steps of the porch entrance. This is Maison Lafitte, a southern wedding venue in Old Mandeville, Louisiana.

Inside, Maison Lafitte boasts large, rustic chandeliers in the spacious entrance and above the bar. Guests may spread out comfortably into several rooms, including a back patio. Glo Event Decor, a close partner of Maison Lafitte, provided chic glass candle holders for this styled shoot. The candle glow gave a clean elegance befitting of a traditional southern wedding.
