Floral Garden Wedding Invitations for Southern Weddings – Camellia's Semi-Custom Invitation Launch
To celebrate Camellia Memories’ first anniversary, I’m launching my first shoppable storefront! Introducing the Floral Garden Collections, a set of six invitation suites that each feature a different southern flower. Drawn in my signature pastel style, the soft floral illustrations make the invitations a great choice for a romantic garden wedding.
The Floral Garden Wedding Invitation Collection is Camellia’s semi-custom invitation option. With semi-custom invitations, we’ll begin with a pre-designed template and work together to make the invitation more your own. Simple changes to fonts and colors are welcome!
To begin, explore the shoppable menus that are unique to each suite. Every collection offers different color choices for the envelopes and embellishments so that you can match the colors to your wedding. You can also pick and choose your embellishments (or none at all). There are options for every budget! Once you make your selections and checkout, you’ll hear from me shortly to begin work on your invitations. From this point forward, I’ll be working with you one-on-one to make sure your invitations are perfect for you!
But of course, if you have questions about the form, I’m always here to help! I offer 15-minute phone consultations to help you get started.
In particular, Camellia’s Floral Garden Collections are great for those who love colorful floral designs. They are also ideal for garden weddings or spring southern weddings. The semi-custom route may also be right for you if:
1) You need to visualize your invitation before committing.
2) You want to make fast design decisions and move on.
3) You prefer to work with a person.
4) You need your invitations quickly within 3-4 weeks.
5) You’re looking for flexible design options but don’t have the budget for a full custom design.
The semi-custom design process was created so that you can receive the quality of custom invitations with minimal effort.
1) Ordering: After your order is placed and full payment is received, I’ll email you a questionnaire to gather your wedding details. I’ll use your answers to draft your invitation wording. Of course, you’ll have the opportunity to edit the verbiage during the proofing process!
2) Proofs: Within 2-3 business days of submitting the wording questionnaire, I’ll send you your first proof. You may request any changes to the wording, colors, or fonts. Up to three rounds of proofs are included in your purchase. Once you are satisfied with your design, I’ll ask you to sign of on the final proof before going to print.
3) Production: Your invitations will be produced by one of my professional printers who specialize in fine stationery. Production typically takes about 2 weeks.
4) Assembly: I check each order by hand for extra quality assurance before sending them to you. If you ordered embellishments that require gluing or folding, then those embellishments will be assembled for you. However, all other invitation pieces arrive unassembled.
5) Send Off: Every order is mailed to you via UPS Ground with tracking. Oh, yes, and shipping is FREE!
Wedding planning is full of financial responsibilities and hidden costs. But I’m upfront with my collection pricing, all of which is plainly listed on the order forms. (See example) Shipping is free on every order (yay!). So unless you change your order after purchasing, the final price you see at the bottom of the form is the final amount you’ll pay.
The collections can work for a large range of budgets. If you’re watching pennies, then maybe your only embellishment is satin ribbon, which costs $10 for 25 invites. Or if you have more room in the budget, then maybe you splurge for the vellum wrap and wax seal combo. The embellishments are really where you can control the cost.
Finally, I also offer a quantity discount on the invitation cards when you buy 100 or more. Experiment for yourself using the order forms!
